Avoid Sun Exposure: For at least 48 hours before yourtreatment, avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds. Excess sun exposurecan increase sensitivity and the risk of irritation. Always use sunscreen(SPF 30 or higher) in the days leading up to your treatment.
Discontinue Use of Retinoids & Exfoliating Products: Ifyou're using any products with retinoids, Vitamin A, glycolic acid,salicylic acid, or other exfoliating ingredients, stop using them at least3-5 days before your treatment to prevent skin irritation.
Hydrate Your Skin: Ensure your skin is well-hydrated bydrinking plenty of water in the days before your treatment. Well-hydratedskin responds better to treatments and helps avoid dryness or irritation.
Use Core 4 Skincare: Prior to and after your treatment,it’s essential to use the Core 4 Skincare regimen. These products aredesigned to prep, protect, nourish, and hydrate your skin. Using theseconsistently ensures that your skin is in its best possible condition forboth the treatment and the healing process.
Avoid Waxing or Shaving: If your treatment involves areasof body hair, avoid waxing or shaving for at least 48 hours before yourappointment to minimize irritation.
No Chemical Peels or Other Treatments: Do not undergo anychemical peels, microdermabrasion, or other invasive treatments for atleast 1-2 weeks prior to your skin treatment to ensure your skin is inoptimal condition.
Avoid Alcohol and Caffeine: Refrain from consuming alcoholor excessive caffeine the day before your treatment, as they can increasesensitivity and swelling.
Arrive with Clean Skin: Please ensure your skin is cleanand free from makeup, lotions, or oils on the day of your treatment. Cleanskin allows for more effective product application and treatment.
Consultation & Skin History: During your consultation,inform your practitioner of any medical conditions, allergies, medications,or previous skin treatments to ensure the best outcome and avoid anycontraindications.
Avoid Sun Exposure: Protect your skin from direct sunexposure for at least 72 hours after your treatment. Exposure to the sun canlead to hyperpigmentation, sensitivity, or irritation. Use a broad-spectrumsunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) every day, even on cloudy days.
Do Not Touch or Pick at Treated Area: Avoid touching,rubbing, or scratching the treated area to minimize the risk of infection orscarring. If you feel the urge to touch your face, make sure your hands areclean.
Hydrate and Moisturize: Apply a gentle, hydratingmoisturizer regularly to keep your skin hydrated and to aid in the healingprocess. Drink plenty of water to support recovery.
Use Core 4 Skincare: Continue using the Core 4 Skincareproducts post-treatment to nourish, hydrate, and protect your skin. Theseproducts help to maintain the results of your treatment while providingessential hydration and safety as your skin heals.
Avoid Heat and Steam: Stay away from hot showers, saunas,steam rooms, or intense exercise for at least 24-48 hours after yourtreatment. Heat can increase irritation and delay healing.
Gentle Skin Care: Use a mild, non-exfoliating cleanser andlukewarm water for the first few days after treatment. Avoid using any harshskincare products, such as those with alcohol, fragrances, or strong activeingredients, for at least 3-5 days.
Skip Makeup for 24-48 Hours: To allow your skin to heal,avoid wearing makeup on the treated area for at least 24 hours. If you mustwear makeup afterward, choose non-comedogenic (non-pore clogging) andfragrance-free products.
Avoid Exfoliating or Harsh Scrubs: Refrain from usingphysical or chemical exfoliants, scrubs, or retinoid-based products for atleast 5-7 days after your treatment to avoid irritating the skin.
No Swimming or Hot Tubs: Avoid swimming in pools, hottubs, or saltwater for at least 48 hours after your treatment, as chlorineand salt can irritate your skin.
Observe Any Changes: It’s normal for the skin to appearslightly red or inflamed right after some treatments, but if you noticepersistent redness, swelling, blistering, or unusual irritation, contact usimmediately.
Follow-Up Care: For optimal results, follow anyadditional post-care instructions your practitioner provides. Book anyrecommended follow-up treatments as advised to maintain the best outcome.
